A 32 minute Crossfit documentary about the journey of an individual overcoming personal darkness and finding hope in an incredible fitness community at Crossfit Mayhem. This was a $0 budget film. While the production quality may not be what I’m use to, I can confidently say this is the single project I’m the most proud of. It was a massive undertaking as I had to do 99% of it alone.
Overcoming many logistical hurtles we were able to produce an incredible rebranded commercial campaign for the Mariners 2020 season. I’m honored that I was able to be the DP and Colorist on this project.
This is one of my favorite projects I’ve ever created. The characters, the script…it just leaves you grinning. While running a very tight $11K budget this commercial did not disappoint. I did a lot on this job: Director, Producer, Cinematographer, Co-Writer, Editor, Colorist, and Location Manager.
Every year T-Mobile releases a video on April Fools day. I’ve been able to DP and Color them each year. There a ton of fun and worth a watch just for pure entertainment.
With only a $12k budget I had an incredible challenge pulling this commercial together. To do so, I had to wear many hats: Director, Producer, Cinematographer, Co-Writer, Colorist, Wardrobe, Location Manager, and Crafty. Its a fun quirky commercial that I’m proud to have a part of my portfolio.
Des, the product guy, over at T-Mobile unboxes new phones when they are released. I have filmed him doing some very creative unboxings. Here are a few highlight videos out of the dozens we have done. My involvement has largely been the DP and colorist but I have also directed them as well.
A product commercial on a $12k budget delivering a generous dose of enjoyment! I managed quite a bit on this project: Director, Producer, Cinematographer, Co-Writer, Casting, and Colorist.
I’ve filmed quite a few halloween and christmas videos for T-mobile. They have always been very entertaining. I hope you like them as much as I do.
T-Mobile for Business video tells the story of two customers. Helping them understand how they can streamline their business. This project was directed by Keith Rivers.
Some of my favorite work has come from working with Philips. We were able to use some unique techniques to produce some very special images. We filmed on multiple different Phantom cameras allowing us to film over 20,000 frames per second. Which means in 1 second we filmed a 13 minute video! We also were able to dive deep into macro product photography which is one of my personal favorite things to film. Which requires so much light that we ended up melting some tooth brushes.
Richard Shermon was a pleasure to work with. He showed up and was ready to nail everything in the script. Made for a smooth and efficient production day.
Slap-stick in your face comedic commercial. A last minute project with a $14k budget. Director, Producer, Cinematographer, Editor, Colorist, & Location Manager.
We were given 45 minutes to film 11 scenes with the former CEO of T-Mobile. These kinds of shoots really show how prepared you are.
This video was made when T-Mobile did away with tracking data and went to unlimited. There was some fun pieces to this. As the 4 guys who exit the elevator are the same two in different outfits. Which meant how we filmed it was a little tricky. Of course Eric Andre was hilarious and was serious about being a data accountant!
The hacker room was a lot of fun to create. It was a very run and gun shoot but we did a lot with what we had to work with.
This underground control room was a blast to film in. So much more latitude in terms of creativity to play with. Its slightly goofy but very enjoyable!
There were a lot of complexities with the volume of VFX that we had to account for. It came through seamless and turned out great!
Kitsap Credit Union was bold and chose to step out. Making a series of commercials around overcoming and belonging. It was an honor getting to direct these videos.
These broadcast commercials for the Seahawks were truly run & gun. I got the privilege and challenge of directing, shooting, and art directing. We had to film two of these in a day. Each video includes a custom designed piece of music.
Earlier in my filming days I filmed 4-5 projects per month for a year straight for HTC. They were zany, creative, and hilarious! We created over 50 videos for them in that year. Here’s a handful of my favorites which includes a 22 minute sitcom pilot parodying Full House. There are moments from these videos that are still some of my favorites.
I did not realize how moving and emotional this project would be when I agreed to direct and shoot this music video. This couple’s story of heartache and hope is raw and honest. My goal was to showcase very simple images so that they would not distract from the heart of the message. Drawing you into the difficulty they had to walk through.
We used some filming techniques that we don’t usually get to play with in this video. Some of my favorite images are from this project.
A series of “over the top” videos featuring Ice-T Rapper to show bad decisions to avoid. In the end reminding employees to ensure that their HR benefits reflect what works best for them. Meant to be funny and attention grabbing.
I directed, shot, and colored this abstract product spec ad for the Xbox controller. With no budget there were some limitations but the final piece is still very cool.
Not your typical “How To” video. Packed full of very helpful information your guided along the way with moments sure to leave a smile on your face. While I was the Director of Marketing Assets at Wyze I created a lot of “How To” videos for many of their products. Running on shoe string budgets I had to get very creative in how to execute them. This is one example.
